Tuesday, October 6

Settled into a nice Boise/Meridian KOA.  Spent a couple of hours this evening toe-tapping at a bluegrass jam session by ten musicians in the clubhouse.

Saturday, October 3 - Sunday, October 4

Roast, potatoes and carrots were bubbling in the crockpot, Chris and Georgia were out for a stroll, and there came a knock, knock, knocking on the door.  Hmmm...opened the door to find Virginia and her golden, Nikki.  She and Mike had arrived for a quick Saturday night stop-over and noticed our vanity license plates.  We will see them in a few weeks in Casa Grande and catch up in more detail on events and happenings since spring.  (I was the school librarian for Virginia's twin grandsons in Auburn)

Sunday was chore day...laundry, windows, vent filters, etc.

Friday, October 2

Fall is a perfect time to take a drive along the Hells Canyon Scenic Route through quaint farming communities, the town of Joseph, and to the State Park at Wallowa Lake.

Thursday, October 1

Today was a shopping excursion to the local Walmart.  Interestingly enough, this particular store stocked several items not on the shelves we have browsed in other locations, so our pantry has some expanded variety!!
